All Right the Allman Brothers

There was a time you couldn’t eat at a Waffle House after 9pm without hearing an Allman Brothers’ standard coming out of one of their jukeboxes.  But times change and those jukeboxes have been replaced with digital servers of top streaming hits from Spotify.  So now fans of Bert’s chili are treated to Selena Gomez while digging into that hot and spicy treat.  I left the South in the early 2000’s and while I was away Waffle House dumped all those wonderful old jukeboxes.  So, I guess the only person to blame for this fresh new tyranny of music is…myself.  Please, don’t let it happen to a joint you care about!
